MetiRota benefits from innovative rotor design and continuous accumulation of customer application experience. The latest profile design achieves low-pulsation, high-efficiency conveying, improving the sealing state between the rotor and the pump housing from point sealing to line sealing.
This prevents backflow caused by wear, maintains stable and efficient conveying, further extends rotor life, and reduces maintenance costs.
Core capabilities: gas-liquid mixed conveying, strong self-priming, wear-resistant, easy maintenance, high viscosity and high flow rate.
Reversible Flow: Fully symmetrical design allows complete flow reversibility (forward and reverse rotation) simply by changing the drive direction. One pump can handle both loading and unloading tasks; forward rotation for suction and reverse rotation for flushing in membrane treatment; forward rotation for collecting sludge at the tank bottom and reverse rotation for high-pressure tank cleaning; forward rotation for normal operation and reverse rotation for clearing blockages in waste oil and sewage; easy installation with no need to distinguish direction on site, only motor wiring adjustments are required.
Gas-Liquid-Solid Mixed Conveying: Suitable for mixed conveying of gas, liquid, and solids, such as unloading and clearing residues for gasoline, diesel, and methanol, with significant advantages over other pump types — top clearing of oil depots with minimal residual oil; fast unloading of methanol and naphtha that is resistant to flow interruption; conveying of crude oil with high gas content in oilfields.
Strong Self-Priming: Vertical self-priming capability reaches up to 9 metres; no need for priming or filling the pump — direct start-up achieves self-priming. Suitable for sewage, rainwater and waste oil lifting (dry installation above ground for convenient maintenance and inspection), long-distance and deep self-priming clearing and unloading, and as the main pump for vacuum toilets, vacuum drainage systems and high-speed train sewage suction units.
Wear-Resistant: The wear-resistant pump housing is integrally cast. When conveying highly abrasive media, radial protective liners can be selected. The standardised, wide inlet ensures smooth passage for viscous media (up to 100,000 cP) or solid-containing media (up to 70 mm). Pump speed typically ranges between 100–600 rpm; low-speed operation reduces wear rate. Built-in protective liners and wear-resistant steel at the inlet provide high wear resistance and easy replacement. The rotor is coated with reinforced NBR (or HNBR) rubber.
High Viscosity: Capable of conveying media with viscosities up to 100,000 cP while maintaining high efficiency. Suitable for high-viscosity crude oil, residual oil and asphalt (the insulated jacket design prevents low-temperature solidification and blockages); polyether polyols, synthetic resins and adhesives (the three-lobe circular arc rotor design reduces shear force, protecting material properties); high-viscosity lubricating oils, base oils and additives at low speeds (not exceeding 500 rpm) to reduce energy consumption.
Easy Maintenance: The quick-open pump cover and unilateral bearing support design for the rotor enable online maintenance — parts replacement and repairs can be performed without disassembling the pump or pipelines.
High Flow Rate: The flow rate range for rotary lobe pumps is 0.5–2,000 m³/h. Low Shear, Low Pulsation: The short travel distance of the medium inside the pump body results in low shear and pulsation, ensuring smooth and stable conveying.
