The CLDM system is built around a dedicated-unit design philosophy: every system is manufactured and precision-calibrated for one specific cylinder bore. To guarantee accurate traceability and correct matching, each set carries a unique product identification code, structured as follows:
CLDM - XXX - YYY
- CLDM — base product series identifier
- XXX — the cylinder bore the unit is matched to, in millimetres
- YYY — configurable option code representing the selected functions and accessory combination
The CLDM system consists of six parts
- CLDM measuring device: the main unit placed inside the liner to capture data.
- Operating handle: communicates wirelessly with the measuring device by infrared for convenient remote operation.
- Infrared transmitter: used together with the operating handle to keep signal transmission stable.
- Draw-wire displacement sensor: records the axial position of the CLDM inside the liner in real time.
- Calibration tool and dedicated carrying case: for periodic calibration and safe storage.
- Portable USB drive: contains the CLDM evaluation and analysis software, ready to run with no additional installation.
